SAO JOAQUIM NATIONAL PARK

The park is in the Atlantic Forest biome. It covers a region of 48,three hundred hectares (119,000 acres). It had been proven by decree on 6 July 1961, which is administered with the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation. It covers aspects of the municipalities of Urubici, Orleans, Grão Pará and Bom Jardim da Serra in Santa Catarin
